Went back to the track tonight and got some better times then my previous run at the start of the month. The temps were much better tonight so it def helped out as far as my times. I did discover that Im crossing the line at 5,000 RPMS I think I need some steeper gears. I was always to busy looking at the ET board to notice my MPH across the line and I think the 3.27's are a hinderance.

These are my previous times

60 - 2.215

1/8 - 9.004

MPH - N/A

1/4 - 13.736

MPH - 104.33

My new times as of tonight

60' - 2.166

1/8 - 8.807

MPH - 83.26

1/4 - 13.479

MPH - 105.33

you need better traction at the 60 foot
3.73 or 4.10 gears would probably be nice too, but they would make traction harder

They just resurfaced the track and once more rubber gets laid down the traction should improve. I think with 3.73's and some BFG DR's I should be in better shape.

Im dying to get 12's with this car N/A. I hit 12's with my GT but it was aided by help of a Paxton Novi 2000. I think after I get some 3.73's and some BFG DR's I should be able to bust into the 12's. I have the MPH even with the crappy 3.27's but I cant get it to bite enough off the line. I'll get 12's before the track closes for the year

I run a 8.81 1/8th with much less power than you got. You can easily drop your times alot with the addition of some good tires and practicing launch technique I would say with practice alone you can probly get some signifigantly better times. I once dropped my times in the 1/8th from 9.60's to a best of 9.14 with no modifications over a period of about 3 weeks just by learning how the car liked to be launched and powershifting!!! The timing retard on 94 up cars on throttle tip in will hurt your times a fair amount. On back to back passes I picked up over a tenth in the 1/8th even with alot of wheelspin on the 1 2 shift. I could not belive the difference in ET just from a simple thing like that. I'm not sure if it's typical or not for those type of gains but I know it helped on that car.
