Between 2k and 2.5k

Between 2000 and 2500 Rpm my car really whines especially when the rpms are dropping but it only does it between that range it also does it a little bit on the way up during acceleration but like I said mostly during deceleration. Anyone know what this sounds like is it a problem or is it normal?? Please help.......Thanks!!

My car whined when I first got it, and my dad and I swore up and down it was the transmission. Well we took it to the dealership we got it from and they replaced the heater core. They said that the hoses were clogged and it was restricting the flow which made the whining noise. I dont know if this is what is going on with you because Ive also read about input shaft bearings going bad, but I just wanted to let you know what my personal experience was. Good luck,

Might have to hear it in person at BM, but it's possible your transmission is noisy? Might need some fresh tranny fluid. GM Syncromesh.

Yeah all gears but only between the specified rpms.....I'll check out the heater core.......and also tyler I just put new tranny fluid in two weeks ago and it still didn't help.....thats what I first thought.....if I show up tonight maybe you can take it for a drive and listen to it for me....
