Big tires and wide rims

I have a 95 gt and want to put weld rims (the biggest back space i can) and the widest tire on the rear and i don't know what to order can sombody help me ?

What kind of tires, radials or slicks?

I have 315's, which are equivalent to ~12" wide at the widest point and I dont rub. I'd say a 26x11.5x15 would work pretty well.

I have some 15x10 prostars with 6.5 backspacing mounted on 26x11.5 et streets and had no problems. ( I had to grind the brake hose bolt a little but I think that it was becouse my COBRA has bigger brakes)
