i bought an 88 mustang already built with a pretty beefy cam and sounds real good at idle but wont even do a burn out the vaccum seems to be good , i just cant figure out the problem could it be the computer? or the under drive pulleys put on it that causes the hesitation?

you are going to need to make sure everything is setup to handle the larger cam. larger injectors, a mass air meter calibrated for the larger injectors, and a tuner to change the program to allow for the larger cam. same with installing better heads. the stock computer has only some much allowance for better airflow over stock, and once you go past that you start to run lean fuel mixtures and get no power.
