Biggest tires on 10 holes for my 89?

I need some new meats for the back of the stang because of some late night tire burning Whats the Largest tire that will go on ten holes and not rub on m car? Im talking street radials here. thanks

you could FIT up to a 255 on the rim, in a 60 series, but it would bulge on the sidewalls, for the biggest fit on that rim, I wouldnt go any bigger than a 245 personally. Its a 7" rim with a 245, some people run 245's on 9" rims, think about that 0

either I'm on a strong hallucinogen or I distinctly remember running nitto 555r 275/60/15 on the stock 10 holes. However they did rub the wheel well but nothing a little fender lip role and pounding on the inner wheel well coulnd't fix. Good Luck

i've heard of people doing it, but i wouldnt reccomend it, not even for a track only tire.... i have 235/60/15's on my ten holes (track only) and they hook fine , if you're worried about hooking up, those are good tires, for the street.... biggest i'd go is 245's

for 16's (like my ponys) i'd go 50's

I am running 275/50 on my rims. I did have to flip the quad shocks and lightly hammer in the inner fender. There is only about a half inch on each side where the tire is clean with 30 psi in them.

i cant imagine 275's on a 7" wide rim, i had 255's on my turnbines and they balooned like no other

ive also had 275/50's on a 10 hole and its not as bad as you would think.
