biggest tires that fit on stock ponies

The 225 contact patch really isnt cutting it for me. I was wondering if i could go 255, or maybe even higher ? I have a good set of LCA's so removing quadshocks wouldnt be an issue. Just wondering if anyone had experience/or pictures with this situation.

u run 245/50's on mine and i think that is the biggest you should go...not saying you ant go bigger from my understanding anything bigger and its too much sidewall hanging over the rim

you know what i do have like one or 2 where you can see the tire....but i cant host them here cause im at work and the computer is a ****ing ****box....but you can just go into my garage and they are there

the 225 is the perfect fit for the rim which is the best contact patch and aslo provide better handling then the 245/50's. the 245 will not have much more off a contact patch then the 225's

i ran 255/50s on my 16x7s worked fine, sidewall stuck out but worked fine.

I like 245/50's on pony wheels. Don't think I would go any bigger.

Ive always wanted to get a notch and get the ponys widend to like 10" or so and minitubb the rear, I think that would look cool as hell!
