I own a 98 cobra that I spun a rod bearing in this past summer. :notnice: I just purchased a rotating assy from Sean Hyland Motorsports. I comes with flat top forged Manley Pistons, H-beam rods, forged crank, bearings and rings. I also purcased a set of Billet blower cams, and new springs. I am going to be purchasing a kenne bell blower within the year but figured I had the motor apart and the money so I bought the cams. My question is the tech at Sean Hyland said I need some Billet oil pump gears since I am going to put the blower on and be running between 10-14 psi. Anybody know anything about these gears?????

The stock oil pump gears have been known to break which leads to an oil pump failure and you damage your engine. I have billet oil pump gears in my cobra motor and they are a good idea to upgrade to for the strength. A couple hundered dollars right now can save you thousands in the long run if you had a failure.
