OK so I have to get some LCA now that I have rode in a car with almost the same set up as mine. My question is for those of you with Billet Arms are they getting tore up by road debris? Also do you have the relocation kit? I have herd that its the relocation kit that really makes these Arms bite not the bushings or stiffer bars themselves. One last question, are the billet any better? I know they are lighter by other than that, any better? Thanks

I wish I new the answer to you question. From the stuff I read here and other forums. If you plan on lowering your car you should get the adjustable LCA's which are tubular (haven't seen billet). I believe you can substitute adjustable LCA's with the LCA's and a relocation bracket but I'm not positive.

The reason I would get billet over tubular is esthetics. I think the weight is comparible as well as strength.

Adjustable LCA's just move your axle forward or backwards. You don't really need them unless you know what you're doing by moving your axle. If you are lowering your car you need to get relocation brackets so that you can reset your pinion angle back to stock so you get the same weight transfer. You don't need the relocation brackets if you lower your car though. I know plenty of people with lowered cars running with aftermarket LCA's and no problems.

BMR

I couldn't take hearing all this about Brenspeed without going and checking them out. Well after a great customer service call, I couldn't not spend my money there! Those folks know their S197's and also just as important how to deal with people.

After much talking and questions on my part I went with the BMR billet LCA and the BMR Relocation Brackets. Just for good measure and the addition of a higher line of credit from Discover I also got a Hurst Short through shifter!

Thanks Brenspeed, :nice: can't wait for my new toys!!!:D
