Black 18" FR500s

Sold my Anthracite FR500s and picked up a set of Black FR500s.
I'm pretty happy with this new look.

I'm going to pick up a new set of tires over the winter. Probably the new Falken FK-452 tires.
I can go wider but I'm limited by the 1/2" clearance with my tailpipes. I'll definitely have to do my research on widths. I want to get the max width for the rim but need to maintain clearance. I may be limited.

It's weird that some tires of the same size actually measure wider than each other. Any suggestions?

Believe it or not, that's the original paint. I bought it new back in '94 and took good care of her - in and out.

It pays off for sure.

But couldn't you have just painted the anthrocite ones black rather than buying new wheels?

I thought about it, but it really cost me very little to get the new ones. I sold the Anthracite ones for $20 less than I paid for the Black ones. They had a "free shipping" special going on, so that made the decision really pretty simple.

I'm a lot happier with these.
