Hey Guys, wondering if anybody knows whats the best custom black paint for a fox. I mean somthing that is showroom quality. I've heard of diamond blk. I'll take all the info I can get. Thanks Guys.

Are you looking for brands of paint of just the names or part #'s? Also single stage or daul stage? You spraying or a shop spraying?

I dont know alot about paint, or custom paint jobs, but when I do something I dont like to do half ass I like the best.

Pay a good reputable shop to paint your car. Tell them you want a show quality job. Tell them NOOO orange peel. You could have the most expensive paints you could buy but if you cant lay them down right, your screwed

wet sanding might be what you will end up doing after paint

well this is 99k dupont the paint you see on grand nationals and also wet sanding has alot to do with it

Do you want a solid black a metallic, or a pearl? personally i would go with a solid, I have had all 3 and preffer the solid over them all.

Dupont base coat/clear coat. Loads of clear and wet sanded flat. Jet black...
