Why?

205s or 225s would work great for this setup. The only reason I'd say 205s here is because of what the poster has in mind for goals, IE lower RPMs and shift point. If he hit the track even occasionally I would say without hesitation 225s are the way to go.

Blackvert - I think your combo is gonna be fun as hell to drive on the street! Are you going to port match that typhoon to the heads? Sorry if you answered this before but I admit to slacking in keeping up with your thread!

yep, this is a 100% steet car ... i never to go the track.

lol it better be fun as hell ... if not, i think i will probably kill myself

i may not even keep the typhoon; i might go to a victor efi instead. either way, whatever i end up will be gasget matched.

only a few days left to wait ...

06/06 update: the car is done! they are bringing it down tomorrow. happy birthday to me!

he is going to buy my tranny for a project he is working on, and they will drop the old block off at the machine shop for me, so that will help on the price and also get rid of one of the big parts left over.

another one of his projects is a 427 with a big a** supercharger. he is looking to make 1200 hp and run 8s with that.

yeah man. they just called and he is actually bringing it tonight.

i still need to swap the 42# injectors in and put install the lmaf. then i can start working on the tune.

ugh. he had a blowout on the trailer in the first 10 miles and he couldn't get a replacement tire. he says he'll bring it tomorrow.

the car is finally home! sounds really badass too. i'm stoked. i haven't driven it much because i need to swap the injectors and the mass air meter before i can really go far.

the headers hang really low though and i really need to do something about it. there is no way in hell they will make it over even the smallest speed bump.

anyone kjnow about those air bag adjustable systems? are they good for adjusting ride height and how's the ride on the street with them?

i have the car and the engine is in it.

holy crap, i think i have built a monster.

it is way too loud though, i am almost embarassed to drive it, it is so loud.

my neighbor came out whien i started it up this morning and said he didn't think it was too bad. that's a good sign. maybe i am just comparing it to before. i still want to quiet it down some though
