The thing with the $45 kit is that you can install them with the motor in the car. If you have access from below then the thermactor plugs can be installed as I have done it but its a beotch. I think the install tool from Alex's would have made it a lot easier. Also nice it comes with the correct tap.

Thanks the term smog port plugs worked also ! I forgot to mention that it’s on a engine stand . 94 gtho going in 96 f150 . This net is really great for info and people are knowledgeable and nice . Refreshing !

I bought 4 cause they were cheaper than 2 , had my own 5/8 11 tap which are 5:00 $ each anyway so that 16.00$ total , bought I’ll Give 2 away if anyone wants them . Plus the tap that I hadn’t used in years . Just send a prepaid envolope to me .
