Subscribing! Looking good
Any Idea on the thickness of those panels. I am almost to that point, but plan on fabbing them myself, have been debating on the metal thickness.

I dunno, the Y2K style Cobra R hood was my 2nd choice for my car.
But you pretty much can't beat free

I dunno, Im at the point where I guess I will wait until its back on the road (when that is ...who knows...winter is never ending)
Ill rock a stocker for now and see if it will allow the KB with my spacer

Finally got the rails- they were on backorder for a few weeks.
Impressed with quality and fitment. Mocked up stock dizi and it allowed full timing adjustment and I can run the front fuel lines no problem! Behindbarsracecars.com fabs these rails- check em out.
Still have to wrap the harness. Its coming along....weather is growing warmer 40 F..so Im getting back at it!

Supah Dupah brotha. Everything looks just fine and its comming along awesome. As for hoods....The Mach and the y2k look ghey. Stick with a plain jane 2 1/2 inch cowl. I think its time for the Casper98gt build thread. haha. Cant wait until the snow stops so i can build mine up.

Any idea on the panel thickness or gauge Blown 5.0.
Who make those valve covers? I have not seen any like that, or are my eyes fooling me?

They look like polished factory units to me?
Sweet build man, must...subscribe...
The valve covers are made by joe heck racing- they have clearance to run large rockers. Definetly not stock (they would not come close to clearing)

Thanks Blown 5.0! I didn't think they were stock. Just looking for new ideas for my new motor. I hate the fins on the aluminum Fords I have now, too hard to keep clean.
update- just cleaned my paint gun-body work in eng bay is finished- eng bay will be sprayed this weekend- keep an eye out for the updated pix. Parts will soon begin to fly!!
weekend project:
replace inner tie rod ends
bolt up the Kmember/control arms/front brakes etc
Mount MC / Booster assy
on order:
MM CC plates
MM bumpsteer kit
MM 3-2 Conv
I should be sitting back on the ground in no time! (pics will follow)

Nice man! your way ahead of me, I just started welding my holes in the engine bay tonight - hoping to have it on the road by the end of May.
Hey, the valve covers in the picture above are the one's I PMe'd you about - those are Joe Heck Racing covers?
