update-

ARP has offered to make custom length studs for my KB. I encouraged them to market the studs for retail sales, but it looks for now at least, I will be the guinea pig. I will post pix as soon as I get the hardware situation under control.

Looking GREAT!!! I am Jealous.. I too picked up a KB 2.2, I am contiplating on going with 331, or 347.. not sure yet.. Please keep posting..AS you guys are very inspiring to us builder want a bees... Thx

If you don't mind me asking, did you weld the aprons over the stock sheet metal or cut and replace the stock sheet metal. I'm just trying to get ideas for when I do my engine bay.

PM V6SPROUT he is the fabricator of those panels. I cut out the aprons to allow the new panels to fit without issues. I used a MAC Tools 145N MIG to weld to existing sheetmetal around the borders. The end result is 100x better than factory in my opinion, especially in person.

Them panels look great!! I seen a few motor bay jobs and boy does it look like it would take a long time to clean up them holes with welds... This looks clean and alot easier..*time saver for sure* Great work so far. Please keep posting pictures as it is very inspirational. Thx

UPDATE- house renovations have come to some what of a finish point. Stang is back as a priority. I had my friend who is a machinest make studs for me since ARP wanted $700 for a set of 5 (jeeesh)

i use a blower from 1969 with only 5psi...and i will guarantee i will run any stock small block mustang over on this broad on the street
