What is the difference between these two valves? Is there a performance gain/loss with either?

I have a Vortech and am wondering if I would gain anything other than the cool blowoff sound in switching. What are my options?

the valves are basically the same thing but you have to use either as a bypass valve becuase of the maf, if you don't bypass the air( recirculate the air) your car will run like **** if at all, it has to due with the computer thinking the air is there but if you use the blow off ( atmosphere discharge) it confuses the computer.
sorry for the choppy explanation i am in a taking a lab quiz right now.
