Ko Simpson gets arrested around new years for being an idiot - negative press
Bills Sign T.O. - more negative press
Marshawn Lynch gets suspended for 3 games - even more negative press
Now Donte Whitner gets arrested for being a jackass.

WTF - the Bills, although usually mediocore, are at least usually of a higher standard than this. This is getting rediculous!

Looks almost like they are trying to replace the Bengals as the most arrested team.

Is it just me or are the Broncos going downhill rather quickly?

Hired the wrong coach, the QB cried his way out of town, etc etc.

That's an odd thing to say, especially for a Pats fan. To be honest, I see pretty much nothing but improvement. Shanahan was a great coach when it came to X's and O's and playcalling, but over the last few years or so he'd run the team on nepotism. Mike was going to let his buddy Bob Slowik continue running the defense in 2009 despite the fact that he had somehow made the 2008 defense much worse than the 2007 defense. Kinda funny considering that Shanny canned Jim Bates (a proven DC) halfway through his first year, yet was going to let Slowik have multiple years even after making things worse.

I'm also a little puzzled by you saying we hired the wrong coach. Belichick gave McDaniels more control over the team than any other assistant he's ever had and he responded by coaching Brady up to the next level and made a solid player out of a guy who hadn't been a starter since high school. Every team that needed a coach had McDaniels very high on their list.

So yeah, I don't see us going down hill at all. Losing Cutler certainly hurts, but Simms and Orton both have the tools to be serviceable and Orton has already played in the spread offense. Our defense should improve immensely simply because we hired a legit D-coordinator and position coaches.
