Bluffing024 *OFFICIAL* 2009 NFL Thread

Then you haven't been watching. Today he completed one just as you described to Nicks and had another perfectly thrown long TD pass dropped by Steve Smith. Eli has lead his team to the playoffs 4 straight years and won the Superbowl. He's not great but he's good enough. Not every QB can be Brady or Peyton.

That's funny b/c I'm pretty sure in the same game I was watching I saw him throw a high pass that led to an INT and then on the very next series his first pass was also very high and went to no one at all (not a throw away pass) and that was only turning it over to watch a few mins of the games here and there. Guess those just happened to be the ONLY two passe's he threw high the whole game and I just happened to turn it over right at that exact time

The Defense led the team to the playoffs those years, not Eli. That team has always been built around the defense in recent years

You have only been watching football since 2000. So, the only QB you are really familiar with is Brady. News Flash: Those type of players don't come along very often.

Funny how you know exactly when I started watching football. You know a lot dont you. How about giving me the lottery numbers this week since you seem to know so much.

FYI Ive been watching the patriots long before the year 2000. I tell you that every single year but apparently you have short term memory loss.

No matter what Eli does, you will always hate him and that's good. He basically made you his biotch in Feb. of 2008 and that's really all that matters. :)

He did that to me? really, I dont remember playing at the game but ok :rlaugh:

I find it amusing how polite you have been in this thread the entire year until the giants drop 3 games in a row then you go right back to the way you always were. Reminds me of a little cry baby. waaaa waaa venom/redline is picking on the giants...waaa waaa Im going to pull out the same material Ive been using for the past 3 years ....lame

Yes. I know Eli has had 3 not very good games in a row. That started at the same time he injured his foot. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. He keeps injuries to himself when possible which is NOT good.

Wrong. It's been a nice combo of both.

There were no Patriot fans before 2000. Empty seats, TV blackouts all the time.

Actually, if you look through this thread, I made no bad comments about the Pats or Brady when he struggled early. It's only when you started your whiney "Eli sucks" sissy-boy crap again I spoke up. You don't know much about football at all, it's obvious from your posts. During the 2007 season you were the laughing stock of the NFL thread b/c every time you posted something, all the posters here laughed at you and proved you wrong.

Take some advice: Talk about your own team. You watch them closely and probably can figure out something to post that isn't dumb if you try hard.

Did you watch it? It was 27-17. Favre threw no TDs and had TWO turnovers for TDs. I call that a pretty decent game too.

did i watch it? of course and you seem to forget that it was a 3 point game with just over a minute to go and the vikings 25 yards from the end zone. then chester taylor let the ball slip through his hands and picked off and returned for the final td.

w00t... At least we're getting better. We'll be 1-15 instead of 0-16... Damn...

Detroit is gonna get better. They have to. No one can be that bad for that long. There is talent on the team. The key is finding someone to harness that talent and put it to it's best use and find the strengths and weaknesses. That lies in management

Patriots take down Miami :nice:

Now its time to watch Eli throw more over thrown lame duck wobbling pass's. Is he capable of throwing a spiral

I still say Manning is a pretty decent QB. I obviously don't follow the Giants but it looks like he is injured or soemthing. I've seen the guy play some pretty good football. and I I know you don't wanna hear it but he played pretty good in the SB. Good enough to win. and that is what counts right?
