Which brand of body-colored mirror inserts would you recommend for my 07? I have Vista Blue. I was also wondering about the long-term durability of the adhesive used to stick to the plastic covers. How should I prep the plastic covers? Are there any problems with these?
I bought the ones from AM for my Vista Blue '06. The 3M adhesive is strong enough to last for a long time. Yes, you need to prep them with a light sanding and some adhesion promotor. Also, don't just use the 3M adhesive tape in strips across the back, go all around the edge, too.
