Ok.. The boy's car. This crap has curled up and let go on the ends.. I removed them from the body with my handydandy soniccrafter:

It is still somewhat pliable, although I've laid it in the sun a few days hoping for it to straighten out. It hasn't. My question is, if i find tape and reapply this stuff will it stay put, or is it going to give me grief? LMR sells a replacement kit, but it's priced high as giraffe booty. Input?

Delete them.....jk. If you plan on painting the car then I would just replace them. Mine got worse after paint and regretted it ever since. Piece of mind, my .02

So if the metal banding isnt all wavey you could reuse, youre gonna spray the car with it off - just flatten it and spray it off the car and apply with new tape, if it wont stay then replace it - FYI new stuff curls too...

Red 3m double sided works for this . Removing the metal strips help to keep it from curling as bad too. As well as trying to pull back from the car when you stick it on

That's worked for me too. Heat them up and peel off the metal strips. That will help flatten them out.

I put some phone books on mine for a few weeks. Also removed the metal strips. A heat gun is your friend for that job.
