So I got in an accident about 3 weeks ago. I got a flat tire, swerved into my buddy, then popped a curb hitting a wall. I am not too worried about my car because I have most of the parts already. But for my buddy I am worried. I told him I would pay for the damage obviously which is a dent in the fender, nothing big. The dent is maybe 1 1/2 feet by 1 foot. He took it to his body guy and he came back with an est. of $800!!!! Now my buddy owns a Plymouth Acclaim, 94 or 96. So when he came back with that I was a little annoyed to say the least. First, for him to even ask me for that kind of money on that ****ty car, especially since it isnt causing any problems besides a little eyesore..come on. Anyway, does anyone from the Philly area, more specifically Hatboro, Willow Grove or surrounding areas, know of a cheap body guy. I dont need the best work, but cheap. I really dont wanna throw $800 on a freaking Plymouth Acclaim, the car isnt worth much more than that. Any help would be great.

Do you know where O'Neil Collision Center is? It's where Mickey's used to be right in Hatboro next to the Commerce Bank. Tell them that an employee at the O'Neil dealership referred you. They may be able to work out something cheaper. Also call around to junk yards for a fender. I know a guy who could paint a fender for around $100.

Drew, I went over to Oneils and told them that you referred me. They told me to stop in tomorrow and ask for Jim or Jaime. Does that mean anything to you? And I will let you know how it goes. I actually saw you driving today on Byberry. I was in the Quickie Mart paying when I heard a car and saw that it was yours. Did you drop it or get wider tires or anything? The stance looks bada**.

I think Jimmy is the guy who co-owns the place with Mike O'Neil. Yeah I was cruisin by the quickie mart today around 2ish. The stance is the way it has been for a couple months, no recent changes. Did you check any junkyards yet for the fender?
