Bogging, so I pulled codes. Take a Look.

I have been having this bad cold bog lately. I have replaced the ECT and cleaned my ACT. None of this worked so I decied to pull some codes:

116: ECT sensor is out of Self-Test
311:Secondary air injection system inoperative during KOER self-test (bank #1). - Deleted smog pump
314: Secondary air injection system inoperative during KOER self-test (bank #2) - Deleted smog pump
327: PFE sensor circuit voltage below self test minimum
511: ROM test failure

The last one is kinda scaring me since I just had a dyno tune 2-3 weeks ago. What is the PFE sensor? And also, when I changed my ECT sensor, I was expecting coolant to gush outta the hole, but there was none? Maybe because it was cold? Please help!

Couple of things:

Did you disconnect your battery to reset the computer after you replaced the ECT sensor? This could be an old code. If you do this and the ECT sensor code comes back, check the OHM reading of the sensor when it is cold and also when it is hot. I forget what the resistance values should be, but someone hopefully will chime in.

Secondly, if the engine is cool, there isn't very much pressure built up in the cooling system, and the ECT sensor sits near the very top of the flow path of coolant. I lost maybe four drops of coolant when I changed mine.

Code 511 seems to be quite common for a chipped car. I can't remember what PFE stands for, but again, hopefully someone will chime in.

Yup, last one is common, just means you have a chip in the car. The others, not too sure about but 1TallMF is right, clear the codes, and drive it some more. See what is CURRENTLY happening to the car. :nice:
