Bolton 94-95 Cobra rwhp?

:If you have 2.73 gears, the tires will rotate 2.73 times for ever 1 time the drive shaft rotates. If you have 4.10 gears, the wheels will rotate for every 1 time the drive shaft rotates.

I think you have this backwards. With 2.73 gears the tires will rotate 1 time for every 2.73 turns of the driveshaft (and 1 turn for every 4.1 turns of the driveshaft with 4.10s). That's why with a numerically higher gear the rpms peak at a lower overall speed of the car. If this doesn't make sense think of it in the extreme. If someone installed 9.00 gears in their car the tach would snap to readline in a split second yet the car would barely be moving. In that sceneario the driveshaft would spin 9 times for every 1 turn of the tires.

And for the record I've dyno'd two different cars 4 times between them at three different shops and I've never been asked what gear I'm running. One was an auto, the other manual. All they do is make sure they do the run where the trans is 1:1.
