The notch ran [email protected] in the 1/8, it's far from a 14 second car. Probably run 13.4's or so. The V6 car ran 9.3@ well he wasnt sure if it was 77 or 78 MPH. I wanted my friend to run the V6 in his 97 GT, would have been alot closer!

I dont know. He had the car, did gears and posi, then not much else for awhile, then got the heads and cam and stuff. I dunno, he isnt a big racer, real laid back. He used to be roomates with the white heads, cam, forged bottom end 98 Z28 I have posted, so I guess thats where the mod bug came from?

That's sad. LS1 swaps arn't that difficult or expensive. I have even been thinking of doing this to my Camaro, because the LT1, although a good motor, just isn't quite as good, and people will pay a lot more for a LS1 vehicle, enough more to actuall make the money back and then some.

True, if you notice on some websites, they only see their type of cars and alot of guys get sold on false dreams. Like you can have some V6 parts company telling them they will be the baddest mofo on the road if they buy such n such parts. Also on V6 boards they generally have a vendetta against V8 cars also.
