Boost timing controller

Hey all, i have a question regarding this product. Long story short goes like this, my car needs a new shortblock, i found one slighty used(read 400 miles) for a very good price, but with the pistons in it, and my heads i would be around 9.4-9.5:1 CR. With my supercharger at 6lbs this is going to be pushing the limits, i was curious if anyone thought this would help?

i was going to get one till everyone said to get it dyno tuned instead. what heads are you running? 9.5:1 isnt that much more then stock and people run 10-12lbs on stock motor. if the heads are aluminum, they will be a bit more forgiving then the stock heads

There is no way i would drive without getting it tuned, the heads are stock.
