Well, after thinking about it, I wasn't real sure about the pushrods in my car.. So I decided to go ahead and order some hardened SHO-NUFF pushrods:

http://m.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-21406250

I'm also thinking about ditching this enormous rpm II intake and going to a spider intake with a elbow. I'm gravitating toward a vic jr as opposed to a super vic because the torque curve is a little lower and more suited to my needs. The only catch is I'd have to convert it ti efi as they don't sell an efi vic jr. My other choice is the parker funnel web. This is the aussies' version of the vic jr.

For 160 bucks, that leaves money for an elbow.

We'll see.

I have considered this as well. The only issue is drilling the injectors. I can't find a shop willing to do it for a decent price. It does look like the stock fuel rail would mount up though. They sell a bit made just for drilling the injector bungs yourself but it's 130$

You can buy premade bungs you just drop in and weld in place, or you can even use epoxy according to the instructions. (I'm thinking devcon or jb weld)... But with boost, I'd definitely weld them.

That particular intake has the injector pads already. I found an article some time ago where they drilled them out for the injectors and made some brackets for the stock fuel rails to bolt to.

Yeah, I've seen that. The advantage to using the bungs is you don't have to hit the close tolerence bore just right so your oring will seal with a drill bit. The bore is finished for you, and you just have to mock it up and tack it in place before welding. Also, you don't need a mill or expensive fixtures and tooling to drill all the holes and ream them on the same angle, equally spaced, weld in bungs alleviate that problem when mocked up on a rail.

Well stay tuned. I've been wrestling with a drivability issue for a long time and thought it was in the tune. Now i find a hurt rocker, so I'm hoping that's what it was. If it still refuses to run correctly after I repair the valve train... Well, we'll see. Let's just say I'm running out of patience.

Edit: If this straightens it out, I'm going to look into the intake.

Plug changes, rocker inspection both so easy. I full support this idea.

Hey Grover! Long time no see!

Did you have a victor or vic jr? How's your torque curve below 4k rpm?

If memory serves, he's got a 363 c.i.d. engine. The super vic comes with an efi option with provisions for injectors.

Was the IAT sensor redrilled into one of the intake runners or was it deleted?

What throttle cable are you using? Making me rethink my charge pipe routing.
