Drove my friends 87 Gt today.what a difference from mine. Mine is a 92 GT, his felt more rough at idle, the gas pedal and clutch felt alot harder to press on. Felt like it had more torque and muscle than mine!..we are both stock. We raced and I won..so hes not faster, unless hes a bad driver but I;m sure hes not. Why could this be?..Mine feels almost like a new car and his more stronger. Could it be because I have MAF and he doesnt?..

Too many intangibles - one would need to have the same (and good) driver take both to the strip to determine which is faster. Otherwise it is too subjective.

My 88 has a bit of a lumpity idle compared to the 94.
