Just wanted to hear what’s out there to add some HP to the bottom end of a N/A 2000 GT.. I have cams, gears, clutch, CAI and MAF. All that kicks in after 3,000RPMS. What im looking for is below that, but with out adding a supercharger or turbo. Which ill be doing later (whishfull thinking).

you need to figure out what you have first.

OK cool i now its rather difficult to figure out what to add on when you don’t have a real clue to what you have.. but do you have an idea of what parts will do this.. not necessarily what will work on my setup but in general.. what will add power to the bottom end to a stock GT for example..
i hear BBK long tubes do a great job for the price. any others?

-full exhaust(headers and midpipe)
-pullies, tune
-gears

everyone with that set up has had a nice fat curve with rwhp @ 260+ and rwt @ 300+

if you dont have gears that would definately give you the feeling of increased low end. thats probably what you need.

yea i do have gears i have 3.73.. and your right those are if not the best add ons... what i was thinking was the long tubes (cali smog problem) some pullies maybe a chip or a tune.. either one do you think that would build up bottom end?

well, thats not enough gear. the other thing about your set up is the 90mm maf, if you don't have your car tuned for it, its fn up something. I say get it to a reputable tuner in your area and have them dyno tune it.

i like your number for the type of mods you have.. how does the 4.10's work for you? mine came with 3.73 and work well but was planing to look into those 4.10's.. but i do alot of freeway driving and i hear those are to high in RPMS in 5th gear.

You need to drop a chip in dat Bizzle fo Sizzzle. I've got similar mods to your car, but when I finally broke down and put in a diablo chip......ummm HeLLO. Felt like my car had been sleeping the whole time and just woke up! After the chip is the first time I scared myself in my car, I speed shifted into second and when i came off the clutch I got mad sidewayz. So much I decided that was enough playing for that night.
