Bought 89 LX Mustang

Hey guys,

I bought a 89LX mustang and there's a few issues...I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas..

Autometer tach jumps all over the place after about 3k

Turn signal doesn't work but hazards do

Car idles really rough and will stall when cold - (will be cleaning out IAC shortly)

retrace the wiring for the tach and make sure it's all hooked up correctly and no worn out wires and such. if everythings ok then the tach is probably bad. turn signal problem makes me think the switch on the column is bad. not sure if your car is actually surging but check out this thread...has a lot of idle fix's.

Most likely the green signal wire or the ground for the tach issue.

Idle could be many things start with IAC.

Turn signal Switch.
