Sold my fox yesterday and ended up buying this motor, not 100% what its going in yet, but i could really pass it up.

410w roller
AFR 205 heads (58cc)
Edelbrock Victor Jr.
quickfuel 850 carb
comp cam 620 lift
MSD distributor
high torque mini starter
Forged Probe pistons 22cc Dish
forged crank
TCI flexplate
TCI balancer
Melling high flow pump
Forged I-Beams
Solid roller conversion
Comp Cams High Energy Pushrods
Ford racing plug wires
solid motor mounts
Hooker Super comp long tubes
Canton 7qt
trickflow 1.7 rockers
ARP everything
came with a weiand waterpump
new alternator
ford racing valve covers
all new gaskets
billet pulleys
and probably some other things i cant think of

PO claims it made about 650hp but i have no clue, im going to dyno it when i take it back to ohio, only ran in a car for a few trips up and down the road before the owner traded it for some stupid 4wheeler, and then i bought it. I know what id like to see horsepower wise but im not going to jinx it at this point. Planning to spin it to 7kish
Came with a C4 trans and a stock converter

Will post pics later tonight when i can get them off this damn camera.
and yes, i know its a bit dirty but i was trying to get a lot done today, didnt have time to pretty it up

Id love to drop it back into a fox but the Ranchero is always an option.
its already got a 351w and a c4 with a 9" so I could probably do something with it.

Managed to get some pictures uploaded too.

never drove it really and just ready to move on to something else. It needed some body work and some rust repair so i sold it off and this will be the start of something different and hopefully a lot better.

well whatever you decide to do should be fun, looks like that C4 won't last long behind it if it's stock though

I think you will need a Super Victor intake and maybe a bigger cam to make any power up to 7K. You may want to see if you can borrow or buy a Super Victor for the dyno to try.

Ive got one to try when dyno day comes around but the super vic may be more than i need. Im interested to see how the cam does also.
At this point im not positive if thats 620 with the 1.6 ratio or with the 1.7s that are on it. Still trying to get ahold of the shop that built the shortblock, but ill be taking off all the front accessories anyways so ill see if its got any kind of OTS number on it.

Turns out the 408 is technically a 410w
Swapping the QFT 850 for a 1050, going to blast the intake and WP on monday. Ordered ARP main studs, new head gaskets and an ARP Oil pump driveshaft. May end up getting ordering a main girdle too. Hoping to get a lot done this weekend.
Still looking for a roller. Really leaning towards holding out for a 99-04 (yeah i know this is the fox section)but ill probably end up putting it in another fox depending on what i can find. So if anyone knows of anything in the indiana/ohio/kentucky area let me know.

Hells yeah! If I had that power plant I would definatly be looking for an old 4 banger notch.
Or just to piss the bow tie people off, an old Camaro.

I see you have a canton pan, if it's the 15-620 you'll need to bang the hell out of it to get a main stud girdle to clear, unless it's the 15-620S. At least I had to....

yep, definitely not a 302. Thanks for lookin out though, Main girdle should fit just fine. Probably going to order the DSS one with ARP studs.
Need to order some new gaskets too now.

Anyone have any experience with Redneck c4s?
