I havent got around to looking at it. We planned on probably buying a new one for like 30-40$

Well today i got bored and cleaned the IAC and adjusted the tps.

OMG the car feels so great now.

Doesnt die anymore, she starts right up and runs good, smooth idle.

After i got done i felt so awesome for doing all the work myself. I'm really starting to get into cars and it was awesome.

The car felt lighter, more powerful after i worked on it. I hope it also fixes my bad 15 mpg, i filled up today so hopefully all we turn out good.
We've had some good luck with this little car, THE BEST 300$ EVER SPENT!

Bosch Literature says the heated ones are good for 60K miles, one wire sensors are supposed to be good for 30K miles.

That is coming from the company that really wants you to buy EGO sensors though.

Acceleration is fine, just that idle. 800, 1100, 1500 etc etc!

Fords are born alive. See, ford bought "Cristine" after that movie was finished, and melted it down into their "Master Vat" for car parts. That's why every little thing you do changes it's personallity. The Idle Air Control Valve is right near the intake port on the upper pluenum, on the firewall side of the engine. It looks like a Tube with a wire at the end, and it bolts into the intake with two bolts. I think their 10mm. I cleaned mine in a solvent tank when I rebuilt my motor, but carb cleaner should fix er right up too.
