I'm leaking brake fluid. It's coming out right where the Booster bolts to the master cylinder. Is there supposed to be a gasket or seal located there? Or am I just supposed to the tigthen it up really good?

If anybody has any advice on if I should buy a new one...should I get a 94-95 Cobra BB or 93 or V6 Mustang? I still have rear drums but someday I'm gonna take the axels and all off a Lincoln Mark7 and bolt it right to my car. So if I need a new one I'd like to upgrade now to the 2 port design and have all that done untill I convert to a 5 lug rear disc. I've put the 73mm calipers up front.

Any advice would be cool. Thanks

Your MC is leaking from the rear. There is no fluid exchange between the MC and booster, all that's there is a rod that pushes the MC. The MC is leaking inside the bore.

Might be time to choose your MC based on future brake mods.

Yeah maybe the MC is clogged up. I'm taking everything apart right now. Maybe I'll find something. Anybody else got any info about the gasket or anything?

Thanks for clearing me up Mike.

Man those brake lines on the MC are really tuff to get off. I'm using a line wrench but there already stripped.

if your m/c is leaking it needs to be replaced, you'd better do it soon as i've seen some m/c leak back into the booster then you have to replace the booster as well.

Ditto. That happened to mine after the third blown MC. The booster had enough brake fluid in it to slosh around!

If you want the Mark VII rear brakes, with the 73mm fronts, then go with the SVO or Mark VII MC since it is sized for that exact setup. And, you realize the stock Mark VII axles and brackets are 1.25" wider on each side, right, limiting your wheels to 8" at the most? And that looks a bit too wide IMO as it is. But you can modify the brackets like Mike and I did and use the Ranger 5 lug axles to keep the same width as stock.

Good luck!

Yeah not alot of people dont like the Mark VII axels on a stang. But I'm gonna be running the 17" Bullit rims and they are only 8 inch wide.

Oh I got the lines off the PV much easier.
