i had to change my drivers side brake caliber and i have a problem. no matter how much i push on the brake peddle the pistons will not move.... is this normal on these brakes? the brake fluid level is full and i get flow to the caliber itself.Does it take the calibers longer to fill up with fluid than others? sorry if this dont make any sense im kinda typing in a hurry lol.

It goes to the floor because you havent bled them yet. Air compresses, brake fluid doesn't, so if there is air in the line your pedal will compress easily. If there is only brake fluid then it will push the piston. As you blead them the pressure will build up. If you don't have a Haynes or Chiltons manual for your car here is a step by step walkthrough for bleading your brakes. Get a manual though someday, I always read about whatever I am going to do before I start that way I don't run into any supprises.

Try taking some brake fluid out of the cylinder below, define full, if you fill above the lines the brakes won't release, maybe you got water in the fluid, its hydroscopic, if you don't know if the cap is left off it absorbs water. I made the mistake when I put power steering fluid in the brake fluid container, I had to replace the rubber parts, thats what the mechanic said, I'll do it my self next time.
