Brake/Clutch Bezel trouble

I got some new bezels for my brake and clutch pedal pads. I'll be damned if I can get them to go over the pads while they are on the pedals. But if I take the pad off and slip the bezels over and then try to put back on the pedal I can't get them to go over.

Anyone have any helpful hints for me?

Thanks :bang:

I have a feeling you are talking about the chrome trim pieces that go over the rubber in the brake and clutch pedals. I think I know what you are talking about, but I have no idea how to help.

Ended up getting them on. I found out that if you put the most pointed corner on first it works best. Seems logical now that I'm typing it... Then I used some of those quick-grip clamps to "press them on".

I would like to say that the reproduction bezels are pretty junky. Don't think I would have spent the money if I'd have known how poorly they fit compared to the originals. Nothing bent out of shape or anything but they just don't fit as nice around the pedal pads.

What's new, huh?
