Brake line info...

I'm getting ready to replace the hard brake line on my '65 fastback, I need help figuring out the brackets that hold it in place. How do they attach to the car? Mine are covered with the black tar stuff and I don't want to destroy them in the removal process.....

My front and rear are clipped in the bracket, but the clip only holds the fitting you have to undo the fitting before it can be removed from the bracket. It's kind of like a c-clip that holds the fitting in the bracket. The bracket to frame on my fronts are screws, but the rear is spot welded.
