does anybody know what size the factory brake line adapters are that go into the mastercylinder on a 65 coupe 289 with drum brakes? also, what size would a 67 maverick/granada have? (i need to adapt my existing lines to a dual resivour m/s)

the reason i ask is because im about to do the granada front disc swap, and plan to do it in one weekend, since this is my only vehicle, im trying to get everything prior to starting the project. thanks.

An all drum brake dual master conversion on a 65/66 Mustang can use a 67/68 Mustang all drum MC. (FYI, there is no such thing as a 67' Maverick or Granada. They didn't come out until 74'.)

It has been years since I bought the adapters at a parts store and normally I carried the MC and the brake line to the store to match it up. Not every autoparts store have them in stock around here. Now I normally order this kit from Summit which include all the adapters, plugs and brake lines that are needed:

It may seem a little salty, but it does include everything needed.

Here is a pic of the adapters needed for my 65' which has disc brakes and uses a 78' Granada MC for manual brakes:

I'm fairly certain the Granada MC has a 7/16"-24 secondary fitting and the primary port has a 9/16"-18 inverted flare fitting.

If your local parts store doesn't have these fitting, I do.
