1. About a month ago, I installed an original set of front brakes from a 95 Cobra. Starting a couple weeks ago, there is a faint clunking sound and respective pulse through the brake pedal during slow deceleration (ex. slowing down to a stoplight) 5-10mph. Everything was installed and bled properly, and it has new $30 pads. I don't think cheap pads could be causing it, but I don't know everything.. hence the questions! Braking performance does not seem to be hindered, nor does it pull. Any thoughts to what might be causing this?
2. Also, the recent fuel price absurdity has lead me to decide to swap my 3.73's back to the original 2.73's. Is it really THAT hard to do the swap yourself? What I mean by that is- is it fairly straightforward to get everything set up right so you don't ruin bearings, crush sleeve, etc...? I am pretty mechanically inclined and can follow directions pretty well. My dad will probably help me out as well, and he rebuilt the 8" on my 68.
Any tips that will help me along?
