Alright, yet again another problem with the Mustang.

Anyway, the brake pedal in the car, when stepped on, is very spongy. No matter what it always rides through to the floor. I went ahead and I changed the Master Cylinder (It was bench bled), then I went on to bleed the whole braking system, starting with the farthest from the cylinder. Basically, I want Rear-Passenger, Rear-Driver, Front-Passenger, and then the Driver side front brake. All of the old brake fluid was released and all new fluid was replaced (Just incase wondering, there was almost no air that was released)...

When I step on the peddle, the calibers in the front do close, but then slowly open to the point that I can still roll, and I wont be stopped, until I pump then again, but I will never be completely stopped, unless I use the parking brake. So they do show some sign of it working, but just not completely. I just can't figure out why the brake system does not work properly. Could I need new calibers, new proportioning valve, anything?

Any ideas or instructions would be greatly appreciated... Hopefully I can drive my car problem free soon, I haven’t yet since it was released from the shop with it’s new paint job…

Thank You!

Sounds like you need to bleed them some more. If you changed the master cylinder you most liekly let air in at the very front of the car and it has to travel all through the system. You also need to check all of your lines and make sure that they are all snug. I have heard of lines that arenot tightened leaking air into the system.
