The standard manufactuers warranty that comes with any Ford product will not cover brakes. (Unless it's ABS releated) Warped rotors / Worn out pads are considered the owners responsibility.
If you got an extended warranty (beyond 3years / 36000miles) then you MIGHT have the brakes covered. But I doubt it.

The first brake job is in no way a warranty or freebe from Ford. You need to buy a BMW for that. Ford (dealer) will cover the brakes in Some instances within the first 12-12 warrany. But in your circumstance, I don't think so.
You say Ford warrenty sucks and it was a waste of money for you? You don't pay extra for the standard 36/36 warrenty on the car. Your own admission that you voided your warrenty within 72 hour on your previous vehicles and ran the piss out of your new car at the track shows that it is your own fault and you should actually be looking to upgrade your brakes instead of blaming Ford for your self inflicted wounds.
the freakin warranty sherriffs come out real quick....was not blaming anyone. the brakes are shot and they need to be replaced. if it was covered by warranty then they should be replaced under warranty. just read the entire owners manuel from front to cover, no where does it say i can not attend a driving school with my car. and i did not roll off the show room and drive onto the track...the car has miles on it before doing this from daily driving which also contributed to brake wear67&05STANGS said:

i am not looking for them to replace something defective. If brakes where covered under warranty it would be a wear and tear item....mine just wore and tore faster than most. brakes are not covered under warranty so it does not matter. If I still had my S4 it would be getting it replaced under warranty. Ford warranty does not cover it so it is not an issue. Brakes are a wear and tear item, it does not have to be defective to be covered under warranty, the just have to be worn out. Like i said I was just asking if it was covered. What is the difference if they replace them at 4K miles or 10K miles if the first brake change is covered.
On top of that you warranty sherrifs will be sitting there patiently to wait to your warranty is over before you mod so that ford can pay for you beating on the car for you 1st 3 yrs.. My car will never be at the dealer for engine / drivetrain work, that is what my tuner is for. I do not take advantage of my warranty because i do not trust ford to work on my car, but brakes a freaking monkey can change.

I was told that brakes, wipers,exc (wear and tear items) were covered if they wear out within the first 12 months.

Dealer is covering my brakes. They said its covered up to 18k miles now, instead of 12k (i was at 17,005 lol)
