Why don't you do them yourself? It would take an hour maybe two at the most. That way you could get some nicer brake pads then the factory or other shops use.

I will be upgrading to brembo's over the winter to set it up for road racing next season but I need brakes now and no point in spending money if i can get them for free, especially if they will be replaced in a few months.

picking my car up in 1 hour. 4 new rotors, 4 new brake pads, and a brake fluid flush courtesy of ford warranty ( i may have to pay for the brake fluid flush)
I guess nobody bothers to read the warranty booklet. For the record brakes like other wear items ( i.e.wiper blades, clutch) are covered for 12 month/12,000 miles. There may also be additional coverage due to the requirements of your state's Lemon laws. For example here in NY, our Lemon Laws require normal wear items on new cars to be covered 24month/24,000 miles. (this is something that most people are unaware of, and many dealerships "forget")
In addition under Ford's warranty if an uncovered component is damaged due to the failure of a covered component the the entire repair is covered. So if one of your calipers seize and wipe out your brakes, or a rear main engine seal leakes oil onto to your clutch then them both items will be covered by your warranty.
Remember that in case something like that ever happens and the dealership tells you that you have to pay for some of the "uncovered" parts.
Wouldn't you say though that the warranty covers defects only? This question was specifically, "I raced my car and humped on my brakes until they melted to slag and now I want free replacements." This seems as far from normal use and any kind of defect as possible. More power to you for getting them replaced for free but I don't think it was the most honest thing in the world to request the work.
