Brakelight trouble

I've got a '94 2.3, auto. I'm having trouble with the brakelights. Fuses look good inside and under the hood. Bulbs still seem to be good, no break in filament at all. Brake pedal switch seems ok.
I don't think this is related, but who knows.......I've been having trouble with the gear shifter/lockout switch, the one that prevents you from shifting out of park without having your foot on the brake. So I've been parking in neutral and using the parking/emergency brake.
Anyhow........what do you guys think? I checked all fuses, all in both boxes, all were good.
Maybe try new bulbs just for poops and giggles?

u better be sure to win if ur gonna race for pink slips.. build an engine with a ridiculous amount of power and then when u win just sell the vette. but imo racing for slips is stupid

I'd be interested to find out how your '94 ended up with a 2.3 4-banger, since '93 was the last year for that engine.. but I can't help you with your brake light issue. Try new bulbs, then take it to the dealer.
