Brakes & RPM's

When I press the brake pedal, my RPM's drop by 100-150 and you can hear some strange noises, like whines, and groans. Could the brake booster be going out? Anything else I should look out for? The car still brakes fine, theres about 70% left on the pads too.

usually i would say its the brake booster, but mustangs use hydroboost (they use the power steering pump im place of a booster).

My car does that to, my brakes are fine 45,000 miles

wierd. i'm going to call the dealership tomorrow and ask wtf is going on.
