Braking System

The question I have is This,

I upgraded my entire braking system with 13" Bullit calipers,and discs,
the 12" disc brakes and calipers on a 2001 cobra IRS, in my 1982
Gt...I upgraded the Brake power bosster also. I need to know
what master cylinder has the correct volume and stroke, that will work with this system. anybody out there know this.....About ready to go back on the road..after over a year of resto....

which brake booster did you use?

1994/1995 gt brake booster, it was smaller diameter, and fit better with the
358w under the hood.

1.00" Bore.

Either the 1993 Cobra MC, or since you hbave the pre-87 brake setup with the 2-port MC already, you can use a 1985 Lincoln Town car 1" Bore MC.


If you want a little more braking response and sensitivity, you can go with the 1994-1995 Cobra 15/16" bore MC, but it will require brake line adapters to fit the lines you have now. (i beleive the '93 cobra MC will as well)
