ford's responce to ticking heads

what up guys cars going in for appointment tomorrow. any ideas on things to tell them to insure they will swap it out for me? i don't want to get bs!

heres my ? do you think if they do confirm that i have defective head, will they have to set a date for me to bring the car back in? as they will have to order the replacement part; don't think they will have it on hand, do u?

well ford said what i was hearing is pisten slap. i told them how come it can only be heard on one side, they said that the car only has 8000 miles and it kight start on the other side too or get louder. i just think its weird that it would only come from the one side though, i don't know wheather or not to believe them. i ask about defective heads, they said its not that. i asked how you know the difference between pisten slap and defective heads...................? they said that the pisten slap sound comes from the sides of the heads, as if it were defective heads it would com from toward the top where the intake is. the things i read didnt state anything about this any of you heard about this? also they said they reprogramed the pcu to try to lower the ticking, does that sound possible?
