Hey,
After what sounded like a machete ripping through my engine, what I had originally thought was a timing chain whipping around, ended up being 6 broken followers on the drivers side.
2 are still in tact.
I'm trying to figure out how/why this happened. What I suspect is that the lash adjusters seized up causing the followers to just smack em eventually breaking em?
What do you guys think? Also, there is no visible damage anywhere else, the valves and springs are still are seating, but wondering if there could have been any other damage while this happened.
