The speedometer on my '98 GT quit working a few weeks ago. Prior to that, it would do some funky jumping around or stay completely on zero. It finally gave up the ghost when it did a complete sweep of the gauge and the needle now rests on the other side of the peg. I swapped out the VSS this weekend but it did not solve the problem. The odometer works fine -- it did quit a year ago but I changed the gear inside the cluster and the problem was fixed.
