I have tried everything...from boiling the pedals to hair dryer to soap and the brake and clutch will not go on...I can get most of it on but when starting at top the bottom wont go ona nd vice verse...it seems like the rubber cutout is way to small to fit the whole pedal...any advice?

Trim the rubber wrapping part. I did that to fitthem on my '92 and it's still tight. Be sure to just start by trimming a corner or two just a hair, and work from there. Go too far and you're screwed.

Wet the metal pad with WD-40. Hook the top of the pedal on, then one side. Then use a flat blade screw driver to pry it around. Use a small (5X7) mirror to help you see your progess. I wouldn't recommend trimming them. They will fit and they will never move if you do it right. Patience....

my clutch went on easy, but my brake never fit right, iit finally came off too many times so i said screw it cut the rubber trim slathered some instabond super glue on held it for a minute and its on there now. it took five minutes versus hours of trying to slip it on. these things should come in multipacks like condoms, you know youre going to send some flying across the room before you get it on

One way is to hook the top on and then press the pedal down with youre foot and twist it. The only problem I had was that it ripped one of the little nubbies off part of the way...talk about piss you off, then I broke the gas pedal trying to put that damn pin back in...oh well, worst 70 dollar lesson Ive ever learned.

how ironic...the same damn thing happened to me! Trying to put the pin in .. I broke the pedal..my father and I were sooo pissed off at that point. Now that they are on im never taking it off. I refuse to ever put a new set on again! They do look great though.
