There comes a point in life where practicality overtakes looking cool. You may not be there, but many of us are. Ive done enough 12-point turns and cringing when I see a pothole or turning around because I can't make it over a speed bump to last a lifetime. Not a whole lot pf strut travel when the wheels are even with the fenders...tended to bottom out the struts a lot. I was very happy the day I took my lowering springs out and put the bullitt/Mach springs in. I drove 10 years lowered..I was done with it. It may not look cool, but now I can drive my car and enjoy it...which is the entire point.

The ride is a lil harsher... But I found some 97 seats that had been taken out within 6 months and stored... minus one cigarette burn, they look brand new... and they are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. They are not the sportiest, but I'm not delusional, my car has never been to a drag strip, and I wont be doing any autox it for a long time... so the seats made sense. I had the same springs on my stock 190k mi fox seats... and the ride was a lot harsher.

The steeda springs drop the car about 1 1/4" 's well within the range. yeah they are going to be stiffer ride wise but they give a good stance, it's a trade off. I like the steedas.

They are a vast improvement over stock spring as far as handling is considered, the other thing that matters... shock/strut combination... an adjustable shock/strut can do a lot as far as comfort. My good friend Jason has a Miata that he autox's with... driving on course he sets the shocks to 10, and on the way home maybe 2 or 3... it's a huge difference... almost night/day as far as how the bumps feel to your kidneys.
