I have a red mustang with black bumper trim on the front and rear bumpers. It also goes around on both sides. It's about 2 or 3 inches top to bottom. The rear black trim is yellowing. So is the front. The sides are starting to peel slightly. Is there any way I can get my hands on fresh trim especially for the rear bumper? Any places online that sell this stuff? I've already tried junkyards and nothing there suggests a single fox body presence.

If anyone has bumper trim in good condition on a parts car (especially the rear bumper) and is looking to get rid of it, let me know.

What exactly are you talking about? Bumber Trim?

To my knowlede the *trim* on the bumbers are built in... its not something you can just swap...

Fords bumpers on the front and back are really yellow underneath the paint. Your description to me sounds like your paints is just peeling and you need a decent paint job to fix it.

However, I could just be understanding your problem completely wrong.

The trim is integrated into the bumper as poneypower89 mentioned but the trim on the sides is replaceable. 50resto sells the trim for the sides though. You can buy flexible bumper paint if you would like to try and touch the front and rear up.

I've seen a lot of Mustangs with fading bumper trim like yours. The paint just wears out. Carefully sand the trim smooth and paint it with black bumper paint.
