is there supposed to be a bushing where the tv cable hooks to the throttle body
looking at mine the cable has alot of slop in theat hole

Yes, they were made of cheap plastic and broke easily.

Though, for just a couple dollars more, you could (and should) get the metal bushing that will permanently fix the deterioration of the bushing and the damage that will result to the AOD from having a floppy tv cable.
