I'm running fox front shocks (KYB AGX). They are about an inch shorter - perfect if you are dropped quite a way. They will work - you HAVE TO lower the '04 anyway.

My springs are said to drop the car 1.5" all around. BBK Progressives... I liked the way they handled on the 87. The shocks and struts are nothing spectacular, but they're better than stock and only a year or so old. I assume the rear struts will work as well?

I don't know about the rears. Sorry. If you call the folks at maximummotorsports.com they will definitely know.

I called Maximum. They said stay away from the fox stuff altogether. While it will bolt up, they are tuned for a 5.0's weight distribution, and won't dampen the 04 properly. The KYBs were cheap enough anyway, so maybe I'll just sell 'em and get some nicer stuff down the line...

I wouldnt worry about the fronts. They have worked really nicely for me (and the damping is adjustable anyway!). At one point MM were selling fox fronts and regular rears as kits?!?!?

I'm leaning toward just running the stockers for a few months and then getting some sick Bilsteins. The KYBs are budget shocks that I've been beating on for two years anyway.
